Why Karnib Saddik
Serious charges deserve a partner, not a junior.
Hisham Karnib and Abdul Saddik personally run every criminal matter in the firm. You get the lawyer who built your defence standing next to you in court — not someone briefed the night before.
Our work has featured on ABC, 9News, SMH and news.com.au. More importantly, it's reflected in 77 five-star reviews from people who were exactly where you are now.

Common questions
Before you call, you probably want to know…
Will I get a criminal record?
Not necessarily. For many first-time and lower-range offences the court can deal with a matter without recording a conviction (a section 10 or conditional release order). We prepare specifically for this where it is open.
Should I talk to police before I speak to a lawyer?
No. You have the right to silence. Beyond giving your name and address, say nothing until you have spoken to us — we can be at the station or on the phone quickly.
How much will it cost?
We quote a fixed fee for most Local Court matters after your first conference, so you know the cost up front. Complex and trial matters are staged.
Can you help if I've already been refused bail?
Yes. We run fresh applications where circumstances have changed and Supreme Court bail applications. Call us immediately.
Do you appear outside Sydney?
Yes — we appear in courts across NSW, and partners travel for serious matters.
